SIA are happy to give back to the local community by supporting the Tidy Towns Committee. There has been a Tidy Town group in Carn almost for over fifty years ago. The current group was formed in 1998 when a handful of interested individuals met in and set up the Carndonagh Tidy Town Association. Clean-ups were organised and carried out on a regular basis. Much good work was done.
Besides the cost savings – a flexi fits in 32,000 bottle equivalents compared with the 9,000 a container full of pallets carries Bulk shipping is being adopted for its eco-friendliness.
First, the flexitanks weight is mostly wine, whereas glass bottles weigh 300 grams at the lower end to and nearly 1kg at the irresponsible upper end.

This show has grown in size since I started volunteering from 5000 members to over 30000 this year. They have given away over 18000 scholarships to kids since its inception and the entertainers only ask enough to cover their travel expenses and the rest of the proceeds goes back to HLSR for distribution to cover all the other costs & expenses.

Several members from SIA Asia attended the the renowned Palm and Lauric Oils Price Outlook Conference & Exhibition (POC), held annually in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, attracts international participation from more than 50 countries worldwide. This flagship conference is organised by Bursa Malaysia Derivatives Berhad (BMD), which operates the world benchmark Crude Palm Oil Futures contract (FCPO) as well as an Option on the FCPO contract (OCPO).

In November Flexi Bob looked in the window of the SIA Ireland office. Since then we have adopted him and we take turns to come in and feed him at the weekend. Here he is enjoying the Donegal spring sunshine and waiting for his next feed.
In 2017 SIA opened up their Italian office in the picturesque Tuscan town of Cecina.
Our team in Italy are Leonardo Calvaresi and Stephen Derbyshire. Leo and Steve have known Damien for over 25 years and as well as their shared interest in Flexitanks they share a passion for rugby. Leo can be seen in his playing days below.

Shipping containers have long been found to have a myriad of uses including Flexitanks. Who knew a shipping container would make a terrific pool.
Old shipping containers can be transformed into backyard swimming pools. We always knew those shipping containers were universal.
The traditional pool is a symbol of excess and waste. This is a little more modern, more modest. This pool can be resold, and you can take it with you if you move.
It’s an interesting concept, for sure, and the design, once installed, looks pretty slick. It’s as if your backyard was always destined to house a shipping container.
